Welcome to PMUG. The Perth Mobility User Group began a few years ago and for about a year held regular meetings. The focus was on mobile devices and it was good. We had people give presentations on the latest mobile technologies and oooh’d and ahh’d over the latest fan-dangled device.
Then life got in the way. Busy schedules and the pressures of organising presenters came up. It happens.
Good news! PMUG is back!
Ever mindful of the time it takes to run such a user group we discussed what it was we wanted from PMUG. We just want to meet up regular and geek on about mobile devices. We’ve decided upon an informal structure this time. We won’t be organising formal presentations, we’ll just be meeting up somewhere social and talk gadgets with fellow gadget-heads. Sounds good right?!
