PMUG - Perth Mobility User Group

It’s been a busy month for me, back from holidays, got my new iPhone, moved into my new house.

Time to organise a PMUG meeting so we can talk about gadgets (yes, iPhones too) and see where the future is going to lead us. I’ll be promoting the event on Facebook tonight, but in case you read it here first details below.

Well the first event happened last night and it was a success. Not a huge turn out but that’s to be expected for the first one. We geeked on about gadgets and devices. Here’s a pic of the turn out (not interested in the people, it’s all about the Gadgets!!)

Next month we’ll be having the meetup on the second Wednesday of the month (that makes it the 11th of June) so that we don’t clash with the Port80 or SQL events.

Tell people all about PMUG and we look forward to seeing you at the next meetup. There are quite a few people in Port80 and SQL groups who I dare say are Gadget fans so pass on the word. 

Lets grow that pile of gadgets on the table!!

Our relaunch event is to be held at Fast Eddies, Perth on Wednesday the 7th of May, 2008.

I’ll be setting up a Facebook group over the next few days so RSVP’s can be made so we have an idea on numbers for a booking. Alternatively leave a comment on this post.
